Transcending Our Inner Stories to Resonate with Crystalline Relationships

Believe me when I tell you that our inner stories can alter the course of our lives for better or for worse.

Let me tell you a story about someone I had the opportunity to work with in my one-on-one sessions in Bogotá. Larry was born in Colombia to a wealthy family. Although he never lacked money, he lacked warmth and a loving relationship with his parents, especially his mother.

Don’t get me wrong; his mom was not dead. She just wasn’t there for him or for any of his brothers and sisters. She spent most of her time traveling with his father and enjoying social engagements with her friends. And how could we expect her not to do this, if that is what she learned from her own mother and from the patriarchal society where she grew up, which values pleasure and thinking about oneself more than compassion and caring for each other?

But let’s go back to Larry’s story. At the age of sixteen, Larry was already an alcoholic. The lack of a mother who was involved in his life, in combination with the patriarchal society and religion he grew up in led him to disrespect women and treat them as things. In that pattern, he had relationships with many women, often simultaneously, who didn’t know about each other. Although some of these women fell in love with him, he didn’t care. He treated them like objects, which he could do without when that suited him. It didn’t matter what the women felt or what they suffered. Over time, these women included his own wife and daughters.

He divorced twice and had several stints in rehabilitation centers.

He was married again when he came to see me for the first time. Interestingly, the cause of his consultation seemed to have no relation to the story I just told you about him.

He came to me because he had a problem he wanted to solve. All the women he had been with, including his current wife, were present and engaged with him at the beginning of their relationships, or at least all seemed well. But over time, they distanced themselves physically and emotionally from him.

Obviously for me this had a common thread—his mother and the patriarchal society of his upbringing and surroundings. And what better way to work this issue than using quartz crystals as tools?

Although the causes of our problems seem to be outside, their roots are within us, entangled in the stories we have learned from others—in this case, Larry’s mother, but also the patriarchal model learned in most of our societies. The stories of others that we have internalized become our master program through which we resonate and create our reality, attracting circumstances similar to those we have within us.

Quartz crystals, through their properties known to the ancients and our modern technology, allow us to recognize the roots of the problem inside of us in order to consciously transcend the programming that does not belong to us and transform our internal resonance and reality.

When Larry became aware of the root of his problem, for him, it made sense that the root was his unconscious learning of the environment where he grew up. Making that connection initiated in him a process of internal transformation. Although it was not immediate, his relationship with his new wife improved. As he healed his inner mother and approached her, externally, he was getting closer and closer to his wife. His vision of women changed internally. Internally, he went from viewing women from a patriarchal point of view to seeing them from an authentic perspective. Externally, this showed up in his relationships with the women in his life, who he not only respected but also admired.

Today he can say that he is living the best version of relationships he has ever had, and he credits this to his disciplined inner work with crystal energy vibration.
